Corresponding Entity References

Create bi-directional references.

This allows you to create and edit related content from either side of the relationship.

If one content references another with CER enabled, the other will get it's changed timestamp bumped when the reverse reference is added because it's updating a field value. If you don't wan't this to happen, consider using a one way relationship instead, with a view or calculated field for the reverse value.

Configuration

1. Configuration > Content authoring > Corresponding references
2. Add Corresponding reference
   • Label
   • Field 1
   • Field 2
   • Append/Prepend
   • Bundles
   • Enabled <-- Don't forget

Issues

Be careful when applying Allow optional bidirectional relationships, all existing relationships will be uni directional and will need immediate review.
